Abstract

For targeted promotion of the Instant Gold Fuel Rewards® program, Shell came to Hitting Redline with the request for a unique driving-focused activation. Three influencers within the BMW Car Club of America were chosen: Board President Steve Johnson, Roundel magazine editor-in-chief Satch Carlson, and Roundel columnist Alex Tock. During the trio’s caravan from San Diego, California to the BMW CCA Oktoberfest event in New Orleans, Louisiana, Hitting Redline created and captured a two-day activation, including covering the participant experience and producing social videos that the influencers could utilize through their channels.
